Sophie has graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic with a Masters Degree in Animal Manipulation, as well as completing a certificate in Equine & Canine Massage. She continues to broaden her knowledge with on going CPD. Sophie is delighted to offer McTimoney treatments throughout Shropshire and surrounding counties.
Background
Sophie has a lifelong love for all things equine. Riding from the age of five, she grew up through the Pony Club and graduated to instructing, which had been a childhood ambition. She attended Aberystwyth University where she studied BSc (Hons) Equine Science. During this time, she developed a passion for eventing where she rode up to BE Novice level. She also developed a keen interest in equine behaviour, spending time training at the Australian Equine Behaviour Centre (AEBC). After leaving university, she worked on a point-to-point yard for two seasons and then moved to a private yard where she concentrated on competition riding, breaking and bringing on youngsters.
Work
Having graduated with an MSc in Animal Manipulation from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, Sophie now works throughout the Shropshire and Wales from her base near Oswestry.
Insurance
Sophie Anderson is fully qualified and insured to treat McTimoney and massage techniques.
All techniques offered improve the animal’s musculoskeletal balance, which in turn promotes healing, soundness and maintains comfort, balance and performance.
